Good to know
Do I need to set anything up before sending?
No. ShopMail sends from our own domain, which is already set up and authenticated with the mailbox providers. Install the app, check that your logo and colours look right, and switch on the emails you want.
Who receives my marketing emails?
Only customers whose email marketing consent in Shopify is subscribed. Order and shipping emails go to the customer who placed the order, because they are about their purchase.
What address do my emails come from?
Your store's name, from an address on our sending domain made for your store. Replies go straight to your store's contact email, so customers reach you, not us.
Do I pay more as my list grows?
No. The price is the same however many contacts you have, so a growing list never costs you more.
How am I billed?
Through Shopify, on your usual Shopify invoice. You can change or cancel your plan at any time, and uninstalling the app cancels it.
What happens to my data if I uninstall?
Shopify asks us to erase your store's data 48 hours after you uninstall, and we do. Nothing is kept.
